Just wanted to share some things like I said I was going to. Finished my Strawberry Shortcake ATC over atSIS and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out!!

Made these for the SISters swap too. Made 60 of them and felt like I was making invites for my sister's wedding again.But they turned out good, simple!!

And some fun pictures. Jared and I went on a picnic last Sunday, I surprised him, it was tons of fun and we lucked out 'cause there were two soccer games playing too. We're going to this more often!!

The long weekend was good. Still totally missed Caessar. I am so happy that it is a short week too. Need all of your advice and help. I want to update my blog and need some ideas and inspiration. I find it So boring too. I've actually been thinking of going to the other blog
site 'cause from what I have heard it seems easier to arrange and add things but the whole paying thing I don't know..still thinking!! So send me some ideas and remember I am a bit of "dummie" with some computer stuff..I am still learning. SO send me..

So, Caesar left this morning, Jared took him to work with him and he was going to get picked up from work. And I already miss him. He was so much fun to have here, just the company and all the silly things he did. I could've kept him here forever. And not only did I have to say goodbye to puppy but Jared left today too for a soccer tournament in Penticton. It's about a five hour drive from here. He won't be back 'til Monday. And it's a long weekend. The house is aready SO quiet. Totally sucks!!

Jared and I have been having so much fun with Caesar over. He's so entertaining makes us laugh with all the things he does and the trouble he gets into. He's my buddy when I'm home by myself and Jared has gone to work, working in the garden, watching tv, scrapping, I am absolutely LOVING it!!

I am already trying not to think about Thursday 'cause that's when he goes home, and I can feel myself tear up. He's just awesome!!

Meet Caesar.

Isn't he a cutie?! Yes and my hubby too ;) Don't they make quite a pair these two.

I'm already falling for him. We're dog sitting for two weeks. He's so fun!! And cute!! And sweet!! It's just nice to have company when Jared's at work or playing soccer. He's an American Bulldog. And I'm hoping that it might do some convincing for Jared that we can get a dog. I know wishful thinking. But he's fun!!

My week was good. I also have some more exciting news!! I'm super excited about this one. I got asked by our school board to teach a scrapbooking class to the teachers on the next professional day. Which is on May 16th!! I'm so excited!! Lots of stuff still do but I'm realizing now that I LOVE to teach scrapbooking rather than sell. So, any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Finished my Tutti-Fruitty ATC's!! So fun!! I am addicted to making these cards!!

Tomorrow is Scrapbooking day!! I'm excited about it!! Will be getting my scrap on. Have some kits waiting to be used!!

Hi!! I have been meaning to update but it seems that life has just gotten so busy. Really haven't had any energy to blog but I have thought about it ;) So happy it's Saturday today and that I actually have it off and have no where to run off too. April has been a busy month. And I got to sleep in today, until 11am. I have been looking forward to it all week!!

Finally finished reading this...

It was SO good. Took me awhile to get into it but once stuff started happening..I was instantly hooked. I'm still surprised at what the Boleyn family made the girls do. Can't wait to see the movie now, although I think I have to wait for it to come out to DVD!!

I am now reading this...

Just started super excited to read it..I have heard some good things about this book.

Have been doing some scrapping.
Got my SOMO March kit and have done two pages. Will be doing more hopefully tonight!!

Two of my friends..love how the pages turned out!! I also got one of the latest kits at SIS it's called the Romantic and I cannot wait to play with this one too!!

Look what came out on DVD on Tuesday!!

Going to go and pick that up today!! Can't wait to watch it!! Love these two..they make me laugh!!

And I finished my Fashion ATC, and absolutely LOVE how they turned out!! I was inspired by the little black dress!!

So glad that it's Thursday today and Friday is tomorrow. Although Jared is gone this weekend for a soccer tournament in Whistler. So, it's just me this weekend!! Have a conference on Saturday morning..fun and on Sunday I am going bridesmaid dress shopping with my sister, excited about that!!

Sorry for not posting, haven't really had anything to say. Been missing my hubby 'cause he has been so busy with work and we haven't really had any time together. Back to school today. Kind of sucks. Feel like I didn't do anything except recover from the surgery. It's going god. Still sore but I got the play doh taken out which is good..cannot wait to eat normal food. Still eating kind of soft food, eating my lunch which is my mom's refried beans...YUM!! But it seems that now I am going back to school I am feeling all inspired and wanting to scrap. Didn't do any scrapping over the break. Did some shopping and re-organzing. That's it. But these are the only two pages I did. The photo of Jared is printed off my new photo printer..super excited to play with it more.

Just wanted to wish everybody a very happy easter!! I hope the Easter bunny finds you!! I'm doing okay, the surgery went well. I'm still sore, and feel like I have play-doh in my mouth. Can't wait to get it out on Wednesday. It's really only glue, that's holding the stitches in place. So, enjoy all the yummy goodie and think of me 'cause I can't eat any yet.

I was supposed to go next week but, because of Spring Break I tried to change it and luckily they had a cancellation. Happy March!! Happy thursday!! One more day and it's the weekend!! YAY!! I just have to get through one more day of parent/teacher conferences!! Wish me luck!! Actually not too worried, should be easy!!

Have been keeping up with the daily cards, quite proud of myself. And every night when I sit down at my desk to make one, I get excited with lots of ideas in my head. It's helping me stay creative which is good.

Thought I would do a random post today. So many things going on, and on my mind!!

1. Parent/Teacher Conferences: I have parent and teacher conferences tomorrow. So looking forward to having this be done, have it also next Thursday. So, wish me luck!!

2. ATC or Artist Trading Cards: I did my first ones, and I absolutely LOVED it!! Check out my post from before. It was so easy and I LOVE how you can use your leftover scraps and be completely artistic!! Tons of fun!! I have another that I am doing over at
SIS. Super excited about this one too, the
fabulous Brandy is hosting it and it's all about Starbucks, so many ideas swirling in my head.

3. Books...I totally back into reading again. LOVE it, I have so many books piled up next to my bed that I am so excited to read. I am currently reading this book:

Absolutely LOVING it, excited to watch the movie again after I'm done but, I think I might find some more books of her too. And maybe read more books of history and people from way back when...does that make any sense?! Any suggestions would be great!!

4. Spring and Spring Break: Is almost here!! I have Spring Break in two and a half weeks YAY!! and spring is almost here too..love all the flowers that are coming out too..my bulbs are slowly peeking through but, I love having a vase flowers in the house like the tulips I bought the other day. SO pretty!!

5. Budget: So, I know it's only really been a week since I wrote down that I wasn't going to buy any scrap goodies until I go shopping with Connie over Spring Break over the border and I have been doing good. I go over to a couple of scrapbooking sites..like the ones on my side bar and fill my shopping cart so, far I haven't purchased anything, I'm doing good...

6. Scrap Goodies: It was so nice on both Monday and Tuesday I received some scrap goodies in the mail, this is okay for the budget..stuff from Stampin'Up for some workshops and the SOMO February kit super excited to play with this and some fabulous and wonderful goodies from the fabulous Jill that I won in her RAK!! This will totally help with the scrap budget. Super excited to play this weekend!!

Quickly Hooked

Just wanted to do a quick post. Weekend was good. Busy, but good. Taught a class, slept in, scrapped a bit and spent some time with hubby. Which I always love.

I finished my first ATC. Was so excited about this I joined a Beautiful Blooms ATC over at SIS and I can see how addicting it can be to make these, and it's fairly quick too. Good way to use up all your left over scraps.

Mondays Come Too Fast!!

The weekend just flew by. They always do. But lately it just seems even quicker. And I don't have a day off like the rest of the country does, very unfair. They have talked about changing it, let's hope it goes in effect next year. That would be nice.

My weekend was good. Friday night Jared and I went out for our Valentine's Dinner. It was fun. Lots of talking and laughing. I just LOVE hanging out with my hubby!! After we went to Blockbuster and rented a movie. We rented Ocean's 13. But I ended up falling asleep on the couch. I was super tired plus I think the Bellini and the martini didn't help.

Saturday morning I got my hair done. A cut and some highlights. Love going to the hair dresser. She just put some different shades of brown and I got my hair cut, shorter. I love it!!

I did a little photo shoot, tons of fun!! Then Connie came over and we went out to Langley which is about a 30 to 45 minute drive from my place. Did some shopping. We went to two scrap stores, Michaels, Starbucks and Chapters. Got some scrap goodies, more stuff to play with. Had a chai latte and a chocolate cupcake at Starbucks, yummy!! And got two new books to read. I'm really enjoying reading again!!

The movie looks so good, and so I want to read the book before I see the movie!!

I have been eyeing this one for awhile...I have heard such good things about this book.

Just finished reading the Kite Runner, loved it so good!! Don't know if I want to see the movie though. Now I am reading Shopaholic and Baby, just love that series. Makes me laugh!!

So, after shopping (sorry I got off topic) we went back to my place packed up some scrappy goodies and went back to Connie's place. Her hubby made us some daiquiris..yummy!! We had some Greek food, watched Breakfast at Tiffany's (love that movie), by the time we were done with dinner and almost finished watching the movie we were both dead tired...no energy left. So, I went home!! We had so much fun together, we're planning a shopping day across the border over Spring Break..super excited. My goal is to not go to the scrap store until then, about a month...I think I can do it!!

Sunday was rather quiet. Jared had a soccer game in North Vancouver, a fair drive so he left at about 3:30pm and I went and got some pictures developed...we are still working on buying our photo printer..cannot wait for that!! Came home and made myself some Cafe and I began to work on my scrap space and the area surrounding, I cleaned and reorganized. you can now see the floor and I got rid of some stuff. It's not too bad. I think I will need a trip to Ikea soon though maybe for a new desk and more storage containers. But it's clean so, I'm glad. I am going to tackle my patterned paper basket next and reorganize that. Did manage to do a page this is for
OLW Love how it turned out, Jared and I way back when.

Never posted these..from last weekend I think...

By the time I was done organizing and cleaning, I was hungry so I had some macaroni and cheese, love the white cheddar flavour..YUM!! I crashed on the couch, did some knitting and Jared made it home in time for Brothers and Sisters, love that show.

I hope everyone had a good weekend too!! This week is busy, I have class on Saturday have to prepare for that, and parent-teacher conferences are next week..fun..get to prepare for that. I will be back soon because I was tagged by the fabulous

So, I'm here still. After my last post I bascially got really sick and was home for the rest of the week. No school, just me lying in bed sleeping all day and then moving to the couch and back to the bed. Saw the doctor and I got some antibiotics, feeling better just have this really bad cough left. But I put on Vicks Vaporub before I go to bed and it totally puts me to sleep. The smell reminds me of when I was little and my mom used to put it on me when I was sick.

The rest of this week has been all about playing catch up with life. Kind of sucks but we are back on track so that's good.

Super excited that today is Friday. I am going with my sister, mom and my sister's soon to be in laws across the border for some shopping. We are going wedding dress shopping first and then doing a little more shopping of other kinds after. I am excited!! I hope I find some good finds..on the hunt for some new clothes..maybe swing by at some scrappy stores we shall see. If not will have to save that for when I go with Connie. Have to get up early not, looking forward to that. Oh well!!

I {heart} Sunday afternoons

It's true I do. They are usually spent sleeping in late, being lazy and doing something creative. That's how my Sunday afternoon was spent. Jared still has a bit of a cold so he has spent most of the afternoon on the couch and I have been in the bedroom scrapping away and listening to some music. Did manage to make three pages and all with my Rainbow Sushi I love how they turned out.

I could've done so much more. Need to make more time. Saturday I had a SU party, it went well. It was with a group of latinas so, I got to practice my Spanish which is always good. My mom came too and she had a good time!! By the time I got home I was so tired..plopped myself on the couch ate some dinner and watched some tv. I watched Trading Spaces now that Paige Davis is back I'm watching it again, I totally loved it!! Then went to bead and read a little before I passed out!!

Now I think it's time to go and maybe start on some dinner, making some Chicken Curry, yummy!!

My week has been busy. As soon as Monday hits I am already longing for the weekend, that's so bad. Since school started again I am working more hours at school, still tutoring and now my SU business is picking up again so, I spend a-lot of time preparing for classes and workshops on the weekend. And usually by the time I get home I am so tired I do only the stuff that is needed and end up falling asleep by like 9 or 10. Makes me feel old. Hopefully once I get more into the routine I'll be able to stay up longer.

Especially since my scrap goodies arrive in the mail. I got a bunch of AC albums to finally put all my layouts in, still need to get maybe two more but the pages are in the albums so, that makes me happy and one more thing to check off my list. I also got in the mail my Rainbow Sushi so, I have been anxiously wanting to play with it, and I did last night!! YAY!! I LOVE this photo from our wedding, and I was always scared to scrap it, but I loved the rainbow sushi, the papers, the Hambly and the hearts and I thought it would be just perfect, and it is!! I totally LOVE how it came out!!

I LOVE how sparkly my ring looks!!

I am just happy that it is Friday today and that the weekend is upon us. The week was really long, it seemed like Friday was never going to get here. Anybody feel the same way?! Did a bit of scrapping. Made one of my "today" pages, love doing them. Just jotting down some things from the day. I'm trying to do one at least every month. Been so good so far. Better than with the daily cards I have been trying to do!!

No big plans for this weekend. Need to make a trip to Office Depot for some copies and other supplies. While I am there will go check out Michaels and see what is new!! Also some time with my parents in Steveston, looking forward to coffee and doing some thrift shopping. And some time with my hubby!! And some more time scrapping too. Hope everyone had a good week. More and more in love with this man.

Not only did my wonderful husband help with making all the food for my Open House yesterday. But he completely surprised me with tickets to see Michael Buble's sold out concert!! And his reason he said was because he is proud of me with everything I am doing with work and scrapbooking. He melted my heart. And he also made me a card. I love him so, and I am so very lucky!! More to come soon!!

Got home early from work, and just so happy that it is Friday!! It's been a long first week back to school!! I have my Stampin'Up Open house..I'm so bad, can't wait for it to be over. I'm back...

So far as my new year's resolution/goal to update the blog, I have not been doing very well. But, in my defense I had been enjoying my last week of holidays. It was good. And now it is Monday morning and it's back to school. Ugh. I do kind of like being on holidays. But getting paid is good and working with the kids is not really that bad. I still look forward to the day when I can hang out in pj's, scrap all day long, go to Starbucks to people watch. I guess I have to start playing the lottery again.

I hope everyone had a good new years. I hung out with my baby sister. She came over and we watched some Alias and played a whole bunch of games. Jared was home until 10:30pm and then he left. He's been volunteering with Operation Red Nose over December. It's a group of people that if you have too much to drink they come and pick you and your car up. It's a really good organization and I am so proud of Jared for volunteering!! He said it was a pretty interesting evening. Lucky him!! But I did get to eat dinner with him and he played and won at Jenga. We texted each other at midnight!! It was good!!

For the rest of my week I have been spending lots of time with my family and friends. And doing some scrapping too. I'm having another open house on Saturday for the new Stampin'Up Spring and Summer catalogue!! Have been busy making lots of card and project samples, getting there.

Did manage to do some scrap pages...

And I absolutely LOVE how this page turned out, me and my Daddy.

Another goal/resolution was to do the daily cards and I totally suck have not been doing so well but, I will post some soon!!

Wanted to wish all of you my friends a very happy new year!! Sorry for the lack of blogging but, I have been enjoying my winter break quite a bit. I have 2 1/2 days left of school before the Christmas break!! I am so excited!! Two weeks off!! I have so much stuff planned to do, cleaning ugh!! But I need to do a more major clean up of the house..lots of scrapping, relaxing, hanging out with friends and family, hubby time..it will be good!!

I have been so busy with getting Christmas gifts ready that I really haven't had much of a chance to blog, sorry!! Have been doing a bit of scrapping in between kind of as a break from the Christmas gift making but, I am almost done!! Will be finishing the gifts off over the next couple of days and will post some pictures of them soon too!!

Things at home with Jared have been so good. Things are good with us and life. It feels good. Not too much to worry about, still figuring things out but we're doing it together. Lots of hanging out and talking. I am just absolutely loving it!!

Now I wanted to share some scrappies!!

So happy it's Friday!! YAY!! Not much going on. Lots of stuff to do still for Christmas, still making things but, it's coming along...will show pics soon too!! So, I fianlly managed to upload my minis that I have been making. I love making them!! So fun and easy and easily addictive. It's also fun to make something different!! I can for see me making more!! Already have a couple of other ideas for some...

So, what are you all doing this weekend?! Probably what I'm doing too..Jared and I are going Christmas shopping this weekend, hopefully we'll get most of it done!! I went to the mall on Wednesday to pick up this...

I absolutely loved Laverne and Shirley in high school, now I know it's not from my generation but they used to show reruns of it all the time and my bff in high school and I used to watch them all the time together, that and Grease, that's another story!! I was so happy when they started bringing the series out on DVD..so, that is what I will be watching this weekend and making Christmas gifts.

I also bought this...

Had to after watching the Victoria Secret Fashion Show..loved them when they were around while in high school!! Have been listening to them in the car and totally just dancing away while driving!!

I had a good and relaxing weekend!! It snowed all weekend over here. And it was so nice to stay inside, nice and warm!! I didn't have anywhere to go so I stayed home!! And i was busy being creative!! Made lots of things!! Did some scrappies and worked on some Christmas gifts that I am making for friends and family. Will share later. But for now here I what I made...

Love how these pretty snowflakes came out!! And of course when I was done there was glitter on me and everywhere else.

And now some pages, they are all from the Sistv collections. I finally had a chance to play with them!! Cannot wait to do some more!! I love these collections they are so easy to use and so fun!!

Love how the pages came out!! I did most of these pages on Saturday!! And Sunday I was busy creating in the kitchen. Made a new recipe in the slow cooker, Tamale Pie it turned out really yummy and I baked some Oatmeal and Raisin Cookies so yummy!! Something about snow and cold just makes you want to cook and bake.

Jared was home all of Sunday too, he was busy watching his Bears game. Which unfortunately they lost. I also worked on another mini album that I'm almost done and then I will post!! I still have to post the mini I made about Hawaii.

And we watched Desperate Housewives, what's going to happen to Tom and the kids? And watched also Brothers and Sisters, I am so happy that Kitty and Robert got married. Sometimes I wish how fun it would be to join in on one of their family get togethers, I know it's only tv but still. Can't wait to see what happens next.

The snow was still here when I woke up this morning but, it's starting to rain so, unfortunately I don't think school will be having a snow day!! Which is too bad 'cause I was kind of thinking it would be nice to get all creative again today!!

Also wanted to say thank you to everybody for all the wonderful comments from my last post. Getting to be chosen for the catwalk has totally made my week or even more..year but, it was a total boost of confidence!!

The last few weeks...

Life has been so busy this month!! With work, school and play I haven't really had a chance to update!! That and I have been a little lazy!! We celebrated Jared's 30th birthday this month, and my SU business has been doing really well this month that and I haven't really had a chance to scrap except maybe once and I am in complete withdrawal!!

Anyways back to Jared. Yes my hubby is 30, it's hard to believe that he is 30 already and I am not too far behind either!! But I threw him a surprise party for his bday and he was completely surprised!! I totally got him, he was in complete shock that when he walked in he walked out a couple of seconds after just to take everything in!! It was too funny and I was all worried when it happened 'cause I was thinking..what did I do?! But he was okay. I think more surprised with everybody there and the fact that his wife was sneaky..hehehe!! Here are some pics:

I planned the party a week before his actual bday and it was so hard to come up with a story for him to actually come home!! He was told that his brother's girlfriend was throwing a surprise party for him, their bdays are actually a week apart, it worked out well except that he was hard to get him to come home, he called me on the phone and told me that he was running late and that he was going to just meet me at his brother's place so, he wouldn't ruin the surprise and he was pretty insistent until finally his co-worker kept bugging him that he couldn't go to his brother's party all stinky and that he should go home and shower...his co-worker was helping me out and Jared listened to him and he came home..phew!! It was tons of fun!! Lots of food and drinks, good times!!

For Jared's actual birthday it was over a long weekend and it was just the two of us, made him Sheperd's pie, very good and we had cupcakes!!

So, that's it!! Lots of other stuff going on..deciding about things and figuring things out. Will just have to see what happens!! But that's it for now!! I will post again soon...happy weekend!!

Things are good. Life is busy this week!! Thought I would post ten today!!

1. I got some happy mail love yesterday!! My kit from Sistv, cannot wait to play this weekend!!
2. So excited for Friday..will share soon!!
3. I might have to find another job, which makes me sad. Haven't done my resume and job interview in so long.
4. Went to Costco with my Mom this morning, had fun with her but I picked up the book Eat, Love, Pray..so excited to read it!!
5. I have another Stampin'Up workshop on Sunday..excited about it!!
6. Hubby and I are staying in for Halloween tomorrow and watching movies. Looking forward to time with him!!
7. Just found out that the Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks come out on November 6th!! Love that drink!!
8. According to one of the boys in my class I am a "fabulous gluer" I told him it was my calling in life ;)
9. Finally emptied my camera. It was full of pictures, now I just need to put it on disk!!
10. Used my new purse today, finally!! I love it!!

The rest of my long weekend was really good. Very relaxing and low key. One bummer though I didn't get to see too much of Jared he was busy working and playing soccer. Good for him but, it sucks too. Hopefully during the rest of the week or this coming weekend!! Did do lots of scrapping though so, that' good!!

I actually tried the OLW and Scrapjacked challenges, totally love how they turned out too!!

It's been a good pro-d day so far!! Just got my hair done and I love it!! The length is shorter and I put in some brown highlights so, it may be hard to see in the pics!! I had a bit of a modeling session!!

Nervous and Excited

I have been meaning to post earlier but, last week was so busy. I was trying to finish up all mu Stampin'Up stuff. I had my first workshop this past Sunday. In the beginning I was more excited than nervous but, as soon as I got to the place, I got really nervous and a bit shaky. Almost how I used to feel when we would have to do speeches in front of the class in high school. But it was good. Luckily it was mostly in front of people I knew, my sil, and Jared's brother girlfriend. Everybody was really easy going and it was fun!! And I did well in sales which is good and made a little moolah!! Always good!!

I also started a blog for my Stampin'Up stuff. I'm planning on posting about my workshops, classes I am offering, specials, and different projects. Basically anything I can think of. So, please check me out!! And leave me a comment!!
It's Stamps, Ink and Paper

So, I was bad. Jared and I are trying to figure out this whole $$$ thing and saving so, we've kind of started a budget and I went a little crazy last week and bought a couple of things. I feel bad. I have been thinking about taking the things back but, Jared says not to worry about it. But it's hard. And I was doing so well for a bit..gotta get back on track!!

Super excited that this week is a short week!! I get the day off on Friday!! We have a province wide teacher professional day!! YAY!! I have no meetings or conferences to go to so, I get the day off!! Super excited!! Might go and get my hair don, I am debating it now because of the $$$ thing, but sleeping in and scrapping is definetly on the list!! And I need to plant some bulbs finally for the Spring!! Maybe some cleaning..we'll see how I am feeling!!

Happy "Turkey" Day!!

So excited that it is a long weekend this weekend!! YAY!! Up here in Canada we're celebrating our Thanksgiving this weekend!! So Jared and I get two turkey dinners this weekend!!

The headaches are still here. Which totally sucks but it's connected to my tooth. Thankfully they're not migraines and I also thought that's what they were or a left over of my cold. So, yesterday I went to the dentist and she gave me some antibiotics and hopefully that works. The pain of the tooth and the headaches better go away soon.

Watched Grey's last night, it was good as always!!Love that show!! And tonight Jared and I are going for dinner with some friends. I hope I can eat okay, I had for dinner yesterday soup and smoothie. We're having Mexican, I already feel bad, every time i go for Mexican 'cause my mom's Mexican food is the best!!

I also did some more scrapping this week. Did more pages from my
SOMO kit. The September kit is so fun!! I found it easier to use than the August kit.

Life and Being busy

Sorry for the lack of blogging. Life has been busy and stuff has been going on and I have been feeling a little negative and so, I have not wanted to post anything. Just decided to disappear for a bit. But things are looking good again and everything is going to get all sorted out so, that's always good.

Besides life and other things, everything has been good. Have been working on my Stampin'Up stuff and getting everything all organized. Almost have all my class stuff ready. It's been taking me awhile but that's okay. I also find that sometimes the creative juices get sucked out of you!! Especially when it's kind of like "work" and you have to do it. But it's getting there. My goal is to have it all ready and done by next week. I have my first party next weekend. So, I am super excited and nervous. Still trying to figure out how I am going to teach scrapping...it's easier to do than teach I think. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I bought a whole bunch of bulbs to plant for next year!! So excited already to see thme bloom!! Especially since everything in my garden has pretty much died. Boo!! I am enjoying the fall weather..the rain and cold is not too bad..not yet anyways!! Still love summer!!

Last week was the season premiere of a whole bunch of new shows!! YAY!! That made me happy!! Monday's because Jared is home we watch Heroes, K*ville and CSI Miami..k8ville was good and Heroes love it, they always leave you hanging!! Wednesday, I love Gossip Girl so bad but so good..kind of like the OC and ANTM so fun!! Thursday Grey's Anatomy..love it and also watched Big shots..kind of like Sex and the City for guys, Friday Ghost Whisperer and Las Vegas, love those!! And Sunday I think is probably one of my fave days for tv..Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters..LOVE those two shows!!

This past weekend I finally caught the awful cold bug that has been going around, I probably caught it from Jared he was sick the weekend before. It was bearable except for the headaches...I don't feel like doing anything!! But for some reason I got a whole bunch of creative mojo going when the headaches weren't there. Got lots done and working on two minis which I will share soon but for now here we go...

I just got the September kit for SOMO on Friday so, I managed to do a page and working on a mini with this kit too..will share soon!! Quite happy with this one!! Did it yesterday while watching DH and Brothers & Sisters.

Life has been so busy with school, tutoring and Stampin'Up. Trying to find a balance, it's hard sometimes. Plus I have lots of things on my mind with work. We'll see.

So glad it's Thursday!! I need the weekend. Have been wanting to scrap, just got my August kit from SOMO and I am excited to play with the goodies plus some other things I want to work on!! And Jared has been so busy with work that we haven't really had a chance to spend time together so, I am looking forward to some time with my hubby!!

I did do some scrapping last weekend while watching the Bears game with hubby!! Check it out!!

And I did my first 6x12 page..I liked the size will definetly do some more pages in that size!!

Back to Reality

So, I was at school and all i could think about was..I wish I was at home scrapping the day away while on summer break. That's bad, eh?! But it's the truth.

The first day back was not too bad. It was easy. We had class tours with the new children. They come with their parents to check the classroom, meet the teachers. They're usually only there for about 15minutes. So it wasn't that bad. We shall see tomorrow, and how many criers we have!!

My long weekend was good. Jared and I went to a wedding on Saturday up in Kamloops which is about a 4 and a half car ride. It wasn't too bad!! At least it wasn't scorching hot. The wedding was at three, Jared's cousin got married. It was quick. We drove back home too the same day. It was a long day but good. I got tons of pictures and they are all going to be scrapped very soon, still have to get them developed.

Sunday, we slept in a bit and relaxed. For dinner we had Chinese food and rented some movies. We saw Catch and Release..it was good, I love Jennifer Garner. After I went and read HP7..almost done and Jared watched his violent boy movie.

Monday Jared went to work and I stayed home and cleaned the house and worked on my Stampin'Up stuff,,still trying to figure out classes and making some samples.

And now here I am, Tuesday night and I think I am going to try do a bit of scrapping..it's still early!! Hope everyone had a good long weekend!! ANd all my teacher friends a good first day back..how many days till the weekend..almost it's hump day tomorrow!! Later!!

Taking It All In...

So, it's basically my last week of summer holidays..kind of. I do have to go into the class tomorrow and Wednesday but, that's probably it. Just to move things around and organize things. Ugh. I don't want to go back. I know I've already complained but it's the truth so, bear with me. I am excited to see the children again and meet the new ones starting and maybe kind of excited to see my co-workers but there's other things that are not too great. Let's just hope there is no drama this year, 'cause I don't know if I will be able to deal with it. Let's just say it might be time for a change soon. Oh, and getting a paycheck is always good!!

The weekend was good. Friday got together with Connie and we scrapped the day away. It was fun. A good last summer scrap session before going back to school. We watched some movies while we scrapped away..The Devil Wears Prada...LOVE that movie and LOVE Anne Hathaway and watched The Three Amigos..it was my fave movie when I was small, my sisters and I used to rent it all the time, like every weekend. It's so funny. Love it!! Got to play with some of my new Stampin'Up scrap stuff..fun..will post more of those pages later when I am done.

Saturday was my Mom's birthday. She finally turned 26years old...after being 25 for the past what 10years or something ;) It was good, my sisters and I cooked dinner for her. It was yummy!! My Dad got her a digital camera so, she was pretty excited!!

What's Going On...

Sorry I have been such a bad blogger. Life has been busy and I have been trying to enjoy the last bit of summer vacation I have left. I go back to school next week. Need to arrange furniture, files and organize tons of things. Fun!! Kind of have mixed feelings about going back...might be time to find something else but, one thing I am looking forward to is a paycheck again. That is awesome!!

So, my Stampin'Up open house went really well. Jared cooked some amazing food and I have lots of samples to look at, some make and takes, a draw and I sold a-lot. Which is awesome!! Got lots of free goodies and made some $$$!! YAY!! Definetly gave me a boost of confidence, that I can do this and that I am good at it. Very good!! Already have some ideas for classes that I am going to offer and I have two booked workshops so far!! YAY!!

Will be making an appointment with the dentist. My teeth are sore. So I am worried they probably just need a good cleaning. But because of my Dad and what he went through with the war and his teeth I am always so conscious of my teeth. That and they are very important. But the dentist is always so expensive but, I guess it is worth it!!

Good news!! My sister is engaged!! YAY!! I am so happy for her and her fiance..it's about time!! Looking forward to another wedding!! Sorry this is an old picture from Christmas will get one soon..still need to see the rock!!

A break and a bit of a freak out

Thought I would take a break from all the stamping and preparing for my open house on Sunday, which as it is closer now I am feeling even more nervous and a bit freaked out. Just want to do well... I have been busy making a ton of samples to show and I still have to finish the make 'n takes and the cards for the draw. That shouldn't take me too long.

In between as a kind of break I have been scrapping, have my scrapping mojo totally there and I just need to create. It's hard 'cause I don't really have that much Stampin'Up scrap stuff so, I can't show my creations on Sunday. Which is okay, it also gives me a reason to buy some stuff to scrap with for SU, which is good. It will be a challenge so, we'll see!!

A bit of everything...

I had every intention of posting earlier but, it has been a busy and interesting week. Good and bad. But that's okay

We had a bit of a scare on Tuesday night. At the restaurant that Jared works in a man with a gun came in. Scary. Jared said that he was all masked and completely covered, you could not see his face. Luckily no one got hurt, just a big scare. They had to shut down the restaurant and Jared ended up dealing with a-lot of things. Luckily the police came right away and they caught the guy. Apparently it was gang related. Scary.

Had car problems on Wednesday night. I was on my way to my first team meeting with
Stampin'Up and the car started to smoke as I was driving and stuck in rush hour traffic. I had to pull over basically right after I got off the bridge. The coolant was completely empty so, I had to wait for the car to cool down before I could put more in. A nice guy cam over and helped me and talked to me. He was harmless, older...talked about his Porsche, lucky him and here I am with my little VW Golf!! That's okay!! I went straight to my parent's house, my Daddy knows everything about cars. SO, the car went to the mechanic yesterday nad he's back and it didn't cost too much $$$. But I didn't make it to the meeting. Next time.

Talking about Stampin 'Up, I have my Open House next Sunday. SO excited and nervous too. Lots of stuff to organize and put together. I want to do well. Have been making tons of samples and Jared was telling me last night what he's going to prepare to eat!! He's my caterer ;) It's going to be yummy!! SO, if your in the Vancouver BC area let me know so, you can come by!! Will post pics of the Open House for sure!!

With all the stuff I've been doing for Stampin'Up I haven't had a chance to scrap going to try tonight. Going to the scrap store later, they are having adhesive at 40% so, I am going to stock up!! Jared will be scrapping with me this weekend too, we got the supplies for our page!! So excited about that!!

I am still reading Harry Potter 7 too. Taking my time and completely enjoying it. Luckily I haven't come across any spoilers on the web.

For those that know, know that I am totally not an exercise kind of girl. But for my birthday I asked for a yoga mat, specifically in pink, and I got it!! So, I have been doing yoga pretty much everyday and I love it!! I only do it from home right now with a book and DVD but it feels amazing so far. Once school starts and we have some steady $$ coming in again, I think I might start going to classes.

So I did get together with Alice last Saturday we had so much fun!! Check out her blog she posted some pics!! Her puppy Gizmo is SO cute, makes me want a puppy even more..I have to keep working on Jared either that or just come home with one. But, we watched Love Actually..love it, had sushi,stamped, and played Wii!! SO fun!! I would like one now, I told Jared..he said maybe for Christmas so, we'll see!!

I am a Scrapping Machine...

That I am!! Have been doing tons of scrapping, just feeling inspired and creative which is totally awesome!! My friend Connie and I had a nine hour scrapping session yesterday!! And we actually got lots done than we usually do!! We watched three movies; The Princess Diaries, Funny Face and Clueless..tons of fun!! We did break for lunch and dinner. And at the end of our scrapping session we grabbed a coffee at Starbucks!! Good times!! Looking forward to doing it again soon!! Here are my latest!!

Our One Year Wedding Anniversary

I know I'm a little late, I should've posted earlier but life has been a bit busy!! Which is always good. But Jared and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary last Sunday, the 15th but we waited until last Monday to do anything because of our trip.

Jared was an absolute sweetheart, I absolutely loved his gift!! I got flowers, a very pretty arrangement which according to him will only get bigger as the years go by!! YAY!! And a card. Now the one year is paper so, Jared got me a gift certificate to the scrapbook store YAY!! But there's a catch..we have to go together because we're going to make a scrap page of our anniversary how sweet!! I am so touched, at least he but some thought into it, It means so much!!

We went out for dinner, very good dinner. At a restaurant called Charlie Don't Surf, it's out in White Rock, which is maybe a half an hour drive from our place. All the restaurants are along a boardwalk that look out onto the water. Very pretty!! Had some drinks and good food!!

We haven't gone to the scrap store yet, he worked and was in a soccer tournament all weekend!! So it's our date night tonite. We're going for sushi and then we are going to go and see Jared's sister and her new fiance!! Should be fun!! Promise to post some scrappy pages soo, have been a bit of a scrap machine!! Hope you all had a good weekend!!

The Wedding and Houseboating

Jared and I both had such a good time up in Salmon Arm!! We totally needed it just being away and hanging out the two of us!! And the wedding so fun, very low key , we enjoyed ourselves.

The drive up on Friday was awful!! So long and so hot!! The air conditioner in the car was not working and if you opened the windows you got warm air!! It was a long five hour drive!! When we arrived in Salmon Arm, we still had to wait for everybody else that was on our boat so, we did some grocery shopping and got some refreshments at the liquor store. The weather was also acting so weird once we met up with some of the people on our houseboat. We had some light rain, which felt really good after all the heat and then some really strong warm winds..really weird!! We even saw a wind tunnel in the water, very cool!! We finally got the boat and got on and rode along the water to find a beach to "park" the boat. The breeze felt so cool and nice!! For those of you that don't know a houseboat is basically a house that floats. It has everything in it that a house has. A kitchen, living room, a bathroom, tons of bedrooms, an upper deck with a hot tub, a slide to slide into the lake, a bar, and one more uppper deck with a place to sit and look out!! Very cool!!

Friday night we went to bed early, somewhat 'cause the wedding was at 11am on Saturday!! Jared and I did not sleep at all, it was so HOT and we were just sweating, it was like a sauna!! Very gross!!

Saturday morning woke up and walked down to the beach for the wedding!! Jen looked so pretty in her white summer dress and Mike in his shory pants and nice shirt!! It was a quick and short ceremony!!

The aisle along rhe beach was lined up with shells and then at the top it had Mike and Jen's initials and a heart, it looked so nice!!

And a pic of jared and I..I tried to take as many of us together as I could, we barely have any pics of us together this past year!!

For the rest of the afternoon, we had free. The "reception" wasn't really until later!! So Jared and I and a couple of other guys went tubing!! Tons of fun!! We first tried the two of us, but it didn't really work!!

So, we had to go each on our own, and I was a little nervous...especially with all boys on the boat and driving the boat too!! But I was reassured, and it was tons of fun!! I may be hard to see, 'cause Jared forgot to zoom in, but that's me!!

For Jared's turn they really went wild with him, but he hung on!!

Tons of fun!! I wish we could've gone again before we left..next time I guess!!

Later that night we had the reception, very casual!! We basically hung out, sitting and drinking and chatting away!! we had tiki torches lined up along the beach, it was good!! And Jared and I celebrated a mini one anyway our 1year wedding anniversary..just lots of kissing and hugs :) Good times!!

We left Sunday!! But we were basically on the road the whole time and when we got home Jared and I went for dinner with his parents. They bought us dinner for our anniversary, it was good!! I got to hear a whole bunch of stories of Jared when he was little and playing soccer and all the politics that go along with it!! I never knew but, I will post another post of our anniversary!! Right now I need to go and organize my desk so I can hopefully do some scrapping!! An anniversary post to come..he loved the album by the way!!Later!!

Going to celebrate...

It's been so nice and hot the past couple of days!! Totally loving it!! So, Jared and I leave tomorrow for our friend's Mike and Jen's wedding. We're going up to Salmon Arm, which is about a five hour car ride..fun!! And then we're going on a houseboat and spending the weekend on the houseboat. The wedding will be on a beach, which will be cool!! Looking forward to it!! Kind of wish that for our first wedding anniversary we'd be alone and maybe somewhere else. But I guess it'll have to do. We are going to celebrate on our own on Monday night or next weekend with a dinner!! But we will be taking a bottle of champagne up with us to celebrate with!!

Have been enjoying my little garden this summer!! I am so proud of it!! Love my sweet peas!! Totally takes me back to being a kid and having them in the garden at my parents house. And they smell so good!!

Because the first wedding anniversary is paper. I decided to make Jared a little mini album of reasons why I am loving being married to him and why I love him so much!! An Update...

So, the internet is back. It works kind of. Sometimes we have an internet connection and sometimes we don't/ Funny. But the Shaw guy is coming tomorrow to look at it anyways. Might as well. So, I have to wait at home from 12pm to 5pm 'cause that's the time he will be around. Hopefully he comes earlier rather than later.

I am officially on summer break from school. I have almost two months off. Starting my second week of holidays this week. Still doing some tutoring at least it is a little bit of $$$ coming in. Trying so hard not to spend too much money, just being the things we need. Especially since it is only Jared who is bringing in the moolah. I have also finally decided to become a Stampin'Up demonstrator. I have been thinking about it for awhile,Jared's really wanted me to do it too, love their products too. And it will be a little bit more $$$ coming in.

Haven't really scrapped!! Haven't felt like it..but I did get my June kit from two fab sites Story Of My Own and Lovebug last week so, that might inspire me a bit. And things in life have been busy and kind of going through things personally so, just haven't felt it. Plus the fact that it is so nice outside, you feel bad staying in. Might try tonite, we'll see!!

Have made myself a large to do list for the summer. Lots of things to do around the house, lots of cleaning and organizing!!

So, I have my ten year high school reunion on Saturday!! I still cannot believe it, it feels like only yesterday that I was in high school!! I am very excited and also feeling very nervous about Saturday!! It will be good to see all my old friends and see how everybody has been doing!! There will be tons of pictures being taken as well!! Lots of chatting, eating and drinking!! YAY!!

Haven't done too much scrapping but I did finish one page, that I have been wanting to do. I still have two weeks left of being 27 but I wanted to get some thoughts down on paper about how I feel at being 27!! Love how it came out..super simple but, that's okay!!

So glad it's mid week!! My weekend was good!! I had a conference to go to, and I actually really enjoyed it. Learned a-lot and it was very inspiring. I took a workshop called "Shake Your Sillies" which is basically yoga for children. Very cool!! We did a couple of poses, and we learned to incorporate it with children you can throw in animal noises. Like downward dog, add a bark...cat pose, add a meow. I can see how the children would enjoy it. But I enjoyed it so much, and after the little workout we did you could totally feel the impact it has on you and your body. It felt good and calming. I'm going to see if I can sign up for some classes soon.

Sunday, was spent at home. It was so nice and warm this weekend too. Hung out in the backyard on a blanket, reading some magazines and drinking coffee.YUM!! Jared had a football game in the afternoon. It was a good weekend!!

And now since Monday it's been raining...not too bad. It's a little cooler. But I'm ready for the sun to come back.

I did some more scrapping with my Story of My Own May kit. Lots of fun!! Just a couple more pages, I am also making some cards too, which I will try to post when I'm done!!

Loved the kit!! And I wanted to see how many pages I could get out of the kit. Let's see if I can get a couple more out!! I hope everyone is having a good week so far!! Here's to hoping the sun comes back out soon!!

Half Plugged...

Ah, Wednesday it's always good. Half way to the weekend!! I'm so glad you all like my story of the little girl and dreaming about Michael Buble..just too cute!! No stories to tell you all about today.

Get to go to the doctor today. My ear is all plugged and I do not hear a thing. Well I do but it's all muffled. I get this at least once a year. So get to go to the doctor and get my ears flushed. Fun!! As long as I can hear again!!

Tomorrow I am picking up tickets for my ten year high school reunion. Can you believe it?! It's been 10years, sometimes it feels like yesterday!! Our reunion is on June 16th. So excited to see some of my old friends and catch up. Although with Facebook I've been doing a-lot of that lately.

I did finish the page that has been sitting on my desk for almost a week now...me an my mom!!

And I got my Story of My Own May kit in the mail yesterday so, I just had to play. So many yummy goodies in there!! A page about me and my best friend from high school!!

Will be definetly do some scrapping this weekend with that kit!!

Weekend was good.Busy. But it was good. I babysat Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Three kids, two girls and a baby boy. Super fun!! And really good kids too!! The two girls ages five and two were only there on Friday and part of Sunday night. And the baby boy, super cute 10months old...gives me baby fever....The parents are from England and though the children don't have an English accent they do speak some words that they would in England like; it's telly, not t.v., it's nappy not diaper, it's knickers not underwear, it's trousers not pants, it's cardigan not sweater....was definetly cute to hear!! But they definelty tired me out!!

Another cute story I thought I would share..will make you laugh!! This happened at school, this little girl LOVES Michael Buble. And we talk about him and she even sings some of his songs in school and for the other children, so cute!! Her mom was late one day last week after school and so we were talking...

Girl: Mrs McGowan
Me: Yes
Girl: Do you dream about from Michael Buble?!
Me: Yes, I do. Who do you dream about?!
Girl: I dream about Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder

I just could not believe her answer. Made me laugh. Then the conversation continued with her telling me that Stevie Wonder is blind and plays the harmonica. She is too cute!! And so smart, only 3 1/2 years old.

Didn't do any scrapbooking this past weekend. No time or chance to. Maybe tonight, I have this page that has been sitting on my desk almost finished for awhile now!! Happy Monday!!

It's Wednesday!! It's a short week!! YAY!! Just wanted to give a quick update of my fab long weekend with my parents!! Tons of fun!! Almost like back in the old days, which is only about a year ago, when I was living at home!! Tons of fun, chatting, laughing, watching movies, eating, eating!! Love my parents!!I took quite a few pictures too..

Steveston is one of my all time favorite places. It's where I grew up, spent a-lot of time there hanging out with my family and friends!! Lots of cool things to see and buy!! One day I should do a blog post all about Steveston, I will now with pictures too!!

Had tons of fun at home, we played Rummikub..love that game, and I watched Happy Feet with my parents, such a cute and funny movie!! Loved it!! And it had a message too!! Awesome!!

Sunday, we went to Que Pasa, which is a Mexican deli and restaurant and had some lunch so yummy!! Quesadillas, enchiladas, rice and beans with some Mexican hot chocolate!! SO yummy!!

It was a really good weekend!! Lots of relaxing and chatting!! Good times!!

It's A Long Weekend Baby!!

Friday at last!! SO happy!! My week was good!! We had last night a Child Bring Parent Evening..it went well!! The kids are basically the teacher and show the parents around the class. Very cute to see!! Some of the children are super excited and others are all shy and just want to go home. I think they just don't understand how come their back at school after just leaving. Later was Grey's Anatomy Season Finale, very good. It'll be cool to see how the fourth season goes. And Gilmore Girls so good and so sad that it's done...I cried I knew I was going to.

Now I have three circle journal entries to share, finally caught up..I'm so bad!! They will be sent on to everybody over the weekend.

Such a good idea for a cj, a swap and a cj all in one. Cool!! I think I went a little crazy with the Primas!! And now for Elizabeth's who just had a cute girl!! Loved her idea too fave music..top three!!

So, Jared is gone for the long weekend...the house tonight is quiet!! I miss him already!! But I will still have a good weekend!! Going to be spending some time with my fabulous....

I'm still here. Life has been busy!! And have been spending lots of time away from the computer, outside, with my hubby, family and friends. Just haven't felt like posting and not really too much to say!! Just enjoying life and the gorgeous weather we have been having!!

Happy belated Mother's day to all the mama's!! I hope you all had a fabulous day!! I celebrated with my mom and dad on Saturday. Made them lunch and they came over for a bit, helped me with my garden!! Tons of fun!! And then Sunday we had dinner with Jared's mom and family!! It was good!!

Haven't really done any scrapping lately. Did make some cards for Mother's Day and a cute album for my mom as a gift for mother's day!! she loved it!! I totally forgot to take some pics!! Will probably do some scrapping this weekend!! It's a long weekend and Jared will be going to Penticton (about a 5hour car drive) the whole time. Totally sucks!! So some scrapping will be done. I have some new pics to scrap, still wedding and honeymoon although I think those will be an on going scrapping and a couple of CJ's to do!!

Work is driving me crazy!! Not only tutoring!! So happy that summer break will be here soon!!

I still cannot believe that it is the last show of the Gilmore Girls tonight. SO sad!! Love that show!! Just might cry!! Will be watching that tonight for sure!!

Seven random...

The last day of April!! Can you believe it?! Good news..weather is getting nicer, and warmer, summer break will be here in exactly two months, 8 weeks and 60 days..but who's counting, right?! My weekend was good!! I got together with my friend Connie, went to the scrap store and Steveston. Tons of fun!! It was such nice weather!! Lots of chatting and laughing, which is always good!! Jared worked Saturday night, I watched some movies and did a bit of scrapping with my kits from Lovebug and Story of my Own will share later. And Sunday Jared ended up having to work too. On the construction site, which totally sucks!! So I did some gardening..planted some plants and moved others. He didn't get home until 5:30pm, he brought dinner which was good, and we watched the hockey game!! Fun!! But it was some time snuggling on the couch with my hubby!! We met up with some friends for coffee and then straight home for Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters. So good!!

So, I was tagged by both Cheryl and Mandy to post seven randome things about me...

1. I am dreaming of going somewhere warm, and with a beach!! How I wish we were going to Hawaii again...our honeymoon was so much fun!! But we're saving up to go to Chicago, to go watch a Bears game..I am going for the shopping!!

2. I have been spending way too much time on Facebook but it's so cool to see all your old friends from high school and elementary school.
3. My goal for the month of May is to save $$!! Now I know I have said it before, but this time I'm really serious!! Totally going to cut back on unnecessary spending. Try to go to Starbucks only on the weekend, that might be hard. Spend less on Scrap supplies, try only the kits that come to my door. I want to save, I don't know if i will be working over the summer..and we need $$ for trips and a house. I can do this!!
4. Talking about work..it's bugging me!! Working with the children is fun...it's tutoring after school that's bugging me!! I have had enough...I think this might be my last year doing it, either that or just completely cut back and do something else!!
5.Super excited that the new Micheal Buble CD comes out tomorrow!! Love him!! And they finally made the Second Season of Laverne and Shirley, LOVE that show!!
6.I want more time with my hubby...
7.I am loving working in the garden, now that I have my own place, it's fun, relaxing and I have someting pretty to look at!! Something else to talk to my parents about too!!

I'm here. Just needed a bit of a break, stuff going on in life but, it's all going to be okay. And I really had nothing of interest to write about, at least in my opinion. Plus I have been addicted to Facebook..I was warned at least by my sister. But it's pretty cool, finding all these people from your past and chatting and all.

Have been doing a little scrapping too, not a-lot, well in the past two weeks anyways. It's been so nice lately, and Jared has been home more so, we've been spending more time together which is always awesome. He's actually away this weekend playing a soccer tournament in Whistler but, he called me last night and said that they didn't do too well, so he will be home early today!! YAY!!

So super happy!! I finally got to meet Alice yesterday!! One of my blog buddies!! She came over to hang out and scrap. I must admit I was a little nervous about meeting her. Not so much about being scared but after getting to know her online, on her blog and now through Facebook what if we just didn't hit off. We totally did!! It's amazing how similar we are. Okay first of all she is in love with a boy name Jared...(spelling is different!!), she is an artist, likes scrapbooking even though she hasn't really done too much of it lately..but hanging out with me she totally will.... she was into seeing my "studio" and all my scrappy creations...we think alike...we both totally concentrate when we create..total silence!! She says TOTALLY!! I called her on it!! She's into all sorts of music..she let me play some country, we scrapped to it as well as to Gwen and Britney!! She''s just awesome, happy to have another friend to talk scrappy talk, hang out with....looking forward to the next time!! Thanks Alice!! This is not the greatest pic..Alice looks fabulous but I look SO tired..will have to take a better one next time!!

My Easter Weekend!!

I always find it so hard to go back to school after a nice long weekend!! Especially when it's four days instead of the usual three!! Our Easter long weekend was good!! Very quiet and time with my hubby!! Jared actually had the whole weekend off, I was so happy!!

We had two Family dinners, Jared's family was on Friday night, it was good...I think my favorite part was dessert!! We had a blackberry pie...Mmmm!! Especially with ice cream!! SO yummy!! We also watched Casino Royale..good movie!! Although I do think this James Bond is handsome, I don't think he is as hot as some people think!! Good movie!!

Saturday, Jared and I went to Home Depot in the morning to pick up so stuff he needed for work and I always like to go and look at the gardening things. Love all the flowers they have!! Later, I met up with my old best friend from high school, Angela!! We had coffee and walked around Steveston!! It was tons of fun!! Just like old times, talking tons and laughing!! Brought back so many memories!! I can't wait until the nest time we hang out!! Can you also believe that I am having my 10year high school reunion in June?! Isn't that crazy?! Where did the years go by?! I'm feeling a little nervous and a little excited..it will be good to see everybody and see how everyone is doing!!

Sunday, Jared and I were lazy..he spent most of his time on the couch watching sports and I was in the bedroom doing some scrapping!! Only did a couple of pages!!

Jared cooked dinner on Sunday night..Maui ribs with some veggies and rice!! SO good!! I love it when he cooks!! And then we watched Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters..so good, love those shows!!

Monday I had off too, but Jared had to go back to work..so I had the house to myself, woke up late, went and bought some fruit and veggies. Came home, scrapped a bit more..watched some tv and waited for Jared to come home so we could go for dinner at my parents house!! Dinner was yummy, my mom made turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing..the works!! Dessert for me is always the best..a blueberry coffee cake!! Then we basically came home and crashed on the couch. Did watch CSI:Miami, Jared fell asleep!!

So, that was my weekend!! Not too exciting, very calm and relaxed!! Hope everyone had a good weekend!! How many more days until the weekend?! I know I'm awful!!

We had an absolutely gorgeous weekend!! WOW!! The sun was out and shining, except for Saturday with a little bit of wind, it made it cold, but today was amazing!! Friday night we had a Retirement Party for Jared's dad. He retired after working for 35years. Can you believe it?! It was at a restaurant, good times. All the family was there, and they had made these really cool posters of Jared's dad in movies, like he was Braveheart, with his face on Mel Gibson;s body, it was pretty cool!! My fave was him as part of the Beatles...Jared's dad told us some stories of all the years at work. It was good!!

Saturday, I had a scrap date with Connie. I went to her place and we scrapped all day pretty much. She mad me lunch..pizza and Caesar salad!! Very good!! Tons of fun chatting and creating!! I made a card and a little notebook for my sister. She leaves on Thursday for the Dominican Republic with her boyfriend..super lucky!! Jared had to work and he was in a football tournament so, I didn't see him at all, pretty much all weekend which totally sucks!!

And today..woke up late...and met my parents in Steveston. It was so nice to walk and hang out with my parents!! We went for coffee to Steveston coffee and then walked around in all the little shops. Bought some fruit and veggies. It was fun, I always enjoy it. Then came home and did my CJ entry for Alice's album..which was all about things that make us happy...

I got my Story of Own March kit this past Monday, and I couldn't wait to scrap so I did quite a few over the week..and it was so easy with everything there. I think this was my fave kit so far with all the yummy goodies, the papers and I just LOVED the color. And who could not love the extras were called "Laverne and Shirley"? The name said it all..loved that show!! I got so many pages out of this kit and cards..and I'm not done yet want to make a mini album but here's what I came up with....

And the cards...I love the little turtle stamp that was in the kit..he so super cute!!

More turtle cards will be made for sure!!

Back to Normal...

I cannot believe that it is Sunday night again and it's back to school tomorrow. I knew the week was going to fly by but still I almost wish we still had one more week left. My thinking is that now that Spring break is over we are that much closer to summer vacation and two months off!! Plus the fact that the Easter long weekend will be here before I know it!!

The week off was awesome!! Did do a little bit of everything!! Went shopping across the border with Connie, went to Bellingham and went to a couple of scrap stores, picked up a whole bunch of new goodies to play with. Should keep me happy for awhile!! Lots of organizing and cleaning my scrap stuff too, which is always good. It's amazing how much stuff you collect, discovered some stuff I'd forgotten I had, also giving some stuff away that I probably won't use. Check out my latest and greatest...

Now not all of the pages are from this past week, a couple are from over the past couple of weeks. I brought my desk from my parents house so, I'm happy no more scrappin on the floor!!

I did get to hang out tons with my family, which is always awesome!! My parents and my sisters.Had dinner over at my parent's a couple of times which is always good!! And of course one of the best things was spending tons of time with Jared, loved it!!

I'm also excited, my best friend from high school sent me an email. She was asking me if I was going to go to our 10year high school reunion, I still cannot believe that its been that long since I was in high school, sometimes it feels like it was yesterday, you know?! But I am planning on going, should be cool to see lots of my old friends. And she wants to get together, which is so awesome, I'm excited about that!! We used to have tons of fun in high school hanging out, talking about boys, lots of fun!! I can't wait!!

Jared's grandparents also had their 65th wedding anniversary on Saturday!! Isn't that amazing!! There was a big party with all the family. And everyone was there all the aunts and uncles, cousins!! It was pretty cool!! And Jared's cousin brought his baby, he is so cute, almost a year old with red hair, super cute...gives me baby fever seeing him...soon..not yet!! But it was a fun party and cool to see everybody. I always tell Jared that he;s so lucky to have all his family here close by. All my family is spread out in California, Mexico and the Netherlands. And then he tells me that their my family now too, which is sweet!!

And today I went with Jared and his parents to check out the site where Jared is working on a house. It was cool to see. And it makes me so proud of him, all the stuff he is learning, and hoe much he loves doing it. We went for coffee and then Jared and I went for a walk, it was gorgeous outside with the sun shining which was nice. It's been raining all week!! Tonight Jared is making me dinner..YAY!! Chicken burgers with mozzarella, and mushrooms.yummy!! And we're watching the Holiday..super excited!! Have an awesome week, I'll be back soon!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a bit!! My internet went down again and I have been waiting for it to be fixed. The internet guy was supposed to come on Friday, but for some reason the internet is working now...Jared's brother cleaned out the computer so that must've helped. But things are good!! I'm on Spring Break now!! YAY!! And thinking that the internet was down has let me get so many things done. Cleaning, organizing..fun things too, like scrapping, hanging out with family and friends, shopping, doing some gardening too..which I am super excited about!! But I did want to pop in and say hi!! And let everyone know I am good and well!! I will porbably be off the web for a bit until I'm back at work..next week!! SO I hope everyone has an awesome week!! And Happy Spring!! It is finally here!!

A little bit of everything...

It's amazing how much you rely on the internet, especially when you don't realize it!! We had no internet last week for a couple of days and I felt SO lost!! Was going to my parents house to check my emails. But it's all fixed now...YAY!! What a week last week!! Nothing too bad, internet and having to close my VISA because of fraud. That totally sucked and having to organize things. But I am glad that it was caught in tim. Here's a question to you all, that I was thinking about..for internet purchases do you have a special credit card for just that or do you use one for all?! I'm wondering what I should do!!

The weekend was very quiet. SO wet!! It rained the whole time!! And not just sprinling but raining cats and dogs..pissing!! I went and got my hair done, it has been SO long!! Basically since the wedding. And I love going to the hair dresser and being pampered...even if it does take about three hours. She gave me a cut and some red and caramel highlights. Very subtle 'cause I am loving my dark hair right now too!! Took some pics..tell me which I should use as my blog and two peas avatar...

Can you tell I had fun with the camera?! I am totally loving my new do, love that its shorter and it feels so much healthier too!!

Sunday..the time change totally screwed me up, even though I remembered about it before I went to bed. Saw my parents for a bit!! And we went to pick up Jared's new truck. A little Toyota truck!! He bought it off a friend!! I'm so excited for him!! It's cute!! And at least he has some wheels to get around!! Not that I don't mind sharing my car with him, but you know... We did some grocery shopping and Jared made me some dinne..Chicken Cordon Bleu..so yummy with some veggies!! He's such a good cook!! We also watched Little Miss Sunshine..it was so good I loved it!!

First Bloom

Look what I noticed has finally bloomed and it totally made me happy!! Had to take a couple of pictures!!

Must mean that Spring is almost here!! I'm excited!! Weekend was good!! Not too much exciting happened..Jared coming home a little tipsy was kind of fun!! He was being super funny!! So scrappin didn't happen, too bad next weekend for sure. And I hung out with my parents on Sunday went for coffee and walked around in Steveston ( a little historic village, one of my fave places ) while Jared tended to himself and the day before. What a week, I have had!! Not bad just busy!! I ended up picking up some extra shifts at school and have been so tired by the time I get home, have been passing out super early. So I just wanted to do a quick post, hello and tell you all how things have been going!! But I will do a more extensive post later I promise.

The crop last weekend was super fun!! Got two pages done, I'm surprised at myself I thought it would be like half but no actually did two. It was funny 'cause there were times during the crop that we were all chatting away being super loud and laughing and then where it was dead quiet. Funny!! There we're seven of us!! ANd it looks like we are going to try and do it every month, should be fun!! After the crop I went home and continued scrappin as well as on Sunday have 4 in total that I will post!!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my CJ, I'm super excited about doing it and I thought it was a cool topic cannot wait to see what my girls come up with!!

So, tonight my big plans, I'm tutoring until about 6:30pm, then I am coming home making my SHake and Bake chicken eating and scrapping. Might even watch some tv, Ghost Whisperer and Las Vegas is on, good fun shows. Totally missed Grey's Anatomy last night..new Deperate HOusewives and Brothers & SIsters on Sunday!! Woohoo!! Tonight Jared is going to Harrison Hot Springs to bartend a party, it's about an hour and a bit drive from here so, I will be home all by myself tonight...kind of sad, need him to keep me warm and I don't sleep very well sometimes if he's not next to me, hopefully I pass out as soon as I hit the pillow!! Have a super weekend!!

So, it's finally Friday!! YAY!! Just wanted to post some pics of my CJ. This is my new group, it's only 5 of us so it's small but either way it will be fun. I chose to do 20 questions, kind of like the game that you can play. Super excited to see what the girls come up with!!

I totally love how it turned out and can't wait to see it when I get it back!! Sorry about the awful scans...sometimes I have a hard time scanning pages especially when they're small so, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You can also see my CJ on two peas.

Super excited about the weekend for many reasons, I get to pick up my Lululemon pants on Sunday and Jared is going with me so, we will get to hang out a bit!! But tomorrow I am going to my first ever Crop. I've never been to one, I'm going with Connie. Her cousin rented the hall in her townhouse complex so all her friends could scrap. When I scrap I usually do it at home or I go to Connie's house. So super excited, let's see how much I actually get done. And my February kits from Story of my Own and Lovebug arrived in the mail this week and they are patiently waiting for me!! And tonight after work I am going to my scrap store to pick me up some new Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket paper..they got some in!! Super excited!!

Got my Scrap on!!

Yes I did!! Most of the weekend anyways!! Saturday I had a scrap date with my good friend Connie. She came over for most of the afternoon and we scrapped, and ate and drank coffee and or course chatted tons, like we always do!! I only managed to finish one page when she came over but I continued until almost midnight, Jared picked up a shift at the restaurant so I was by myself. I was so into it that when it came to dinner I was not wanting to make myself anything too big so guess what I had?! It's awful but it was SO good..cheesecake and ice cream. Jared found this Haagen-Daas ice cream that we've been looking for awhile now and fianlly found it!! It's called Mayan Chocolate..it's so yummy!! Totally tastes like Mexican chocolate!!

I realized certain things while I was scarpping....I think I am obsessed with chipboard, mostly alphabets. I was going through my stash and realized how many packages of Basic Grey alphabets I have. Not only the alphabets but the numbers and elements packages too. I am in love with buttons!! I used on almost page I made also the Doodlebug paper frils..I love them so easy and so girly!! Lovin' the color orange right now must be the dutch side of me. And when I scrap older pics, like of me and my sisters growing up I get all emotional..must be the memories..a couple of tears were shed while making those pages.

Sunday was good, I got to spend some time with my gorgeous hubby!! We went for a walk, which was good, it felt good to be with him and chat. I love him so much. And with work and other things going on, things have been difficult but being with him yesterday made me realize even more how much I love him. Okay don't mind me I am getting all sappy now. But realizing now that things are good and will only get better. I made dinner..Shake 'n Bake chicken, I love it and I could eat it everyday.
Anybody watched Desperate Housewives or Brothers and Sisters last night?! They were good, two of my fave shows right now.

Because it's friday!! YAY!! So happy!! Although I did have a day off yesterday!! Which was awesome!! It was actually a province wide pro-d day, and since my school is private but, we are in the elementary school so we got to close and get the day off!! I hung out with my sister most of the day, we went to Lululemon..we have had our date booked for a month now to go. Jared gave me a gift card for Christmas..so I was finally able to get my lululemon pants. But I didn't, when I was up at the cashier ready top pay with my giftcard, it didn't want to work. Apparently the girl who did the gift card for Jared didn't activitate it...so now I have to make a couple of calls to fix this and hopefully get my pants..I was so sad!! My sister got her stuff though!! We did tons of shopping and lots of chatting. Tons of fun!!

Valentine's Day was good...Jared got me some roses, my fave and my fave M&M's..the almonds..they're are so good and sometimes hard to find. The rest of our night we watched a bunch of movies on tv....America's Sweethearts and Sweet Home Alabama so it was good.

I have been wanting to scrap. But it's so hard during the week to scrap. And so I wait until the weekend when I can just scrap without interruption and just do it all day!! Tomorrow since Jared has soccer!! ANd it doesn't help that on Sunday I went scrap shopping with Jared's mom and she bought me all this new scrap stuff for my birthday. It's late I know but my birthday last year didn't really count with all the weddin stuff going on. I'm happy to play...especailly when I know all this stuff is waiting for me...

So glad it is Thursday night and that tomorrow is Friday!! What a day!! What a week!! Definetly glad it is almost over!! Lots of things on my mind, and been feeling kind of lonely and sad 'cause I haven't really had any time alone with Jared because of his work schedule!! But thankfully things will be getting back to normal as his schedule will be back to what we're used to. I guess it's just that I miss him..it's hard!! And other things going on too but that stuff you just deal with it!!

Tonight we had parent/teacher conferences at school. All the parents we had tonight were so easy going, so it was good. But I could feel that a cold was starting 'cause when I woke up this morning my throat was sore....I now have no voice..Jared loves it!! He calls me his Porn Star!! How sweet!!

Nothing really big happening this weekend!! Jared will be enjoying his Bears play on Sunday!! I'm excited for him!! Will be doing some scrapbooking for sure most likely on Saturday!! And in between everything hopefully spend some time with my hubby!! Hope everyone is doing well!! Have a super weekend!!

Go Bears!!

My husband is very happy!! His Bears are going to the Super Bowl!! It was so cute to see him yesterday morning, he woke up early because he couldn't sleep. He was just too excited about the game. I was in the bedroom doing some scrapbooking and listening to my iPod with the earphones and I couldn't still here him screaming and yelling. He was all smiles for the rest of the day!!

I did manage to finish almost two layouts while Jared was watching the game. Will post them soon!! And I finished my tuque but I think it won't fit, it looks too small to me. I will have to take it over to my Mom's so she can check it for me!! I have a feeling I will have to start again!! Oh well!! The fahion show will have to wait.

My weekend was very quiet, hung out with parents on Saturday all day, stayed for dinner which is always good. And we watched the Italian Job, I really like that movie, it's good. Makes me want to go out and buy a Mini, cute cars!!

Jared and I are trying to save some money. Some unexpected stuff came up. And it's hard. We started since the first of January and I think we are doing good so far. I have been good, haven't bought any scrap stuff..only with gift certificates, and Starbucks is still being bought with gift cards from the kids that I got as Christmas presents..which is nice!! So I guess in all it's not really that hard, just discipline..I have to just keeping thinking of all the $$ we will have saved!! We want to buy a house soon..the people who live upstairs are bugging us..and we want our own place.

Cold, Comfty and Creative...

Pretty snazzy title for this post, eh?!It's been SO cold the past couple of days!! We've been getting freezing weather and snow too!! I'm ready for the summer..keep looking at the pics of Hawaii and I SO wish I was there right now. We had our last dump of snow today, of course according to the weatherman and that it should be getting warmer the next couple of days. Which is good because I'm ready for it to go away!! It does look SO pretty with all the white on the ground but I'm ready for it to go!!

Well because it has been so cold all I've been really doing is staying home and keeping warm inside. Watching some tv and doing tons of scrapping. Which is always fun!! I'm loving it, have my iPod on in my ears and sitting on the floor and just playing with all my scrappy stuff. Especially now that it is all nice and organized!! Have been wanting to shar some of my latest pages, which I am lovin' have been doing quite a bit of wedding pages especially with some of my fave pics..like the kissing one...tell me what you think...

Jared teased me for doing a page about the puppy we almost got. I had to, he's too cute and I was wanting to use the new KI pet line..love it!! Besides scrapping I've been doing some knitting. Getting back into it again. I first learned how to crochet and now I'm doing some more knitting now. It's fun!! I usually do it infront of the tv while watching something!! I started making a scarf over the winter break, this chunky and really pretty one I saw in Martha Stewart's Holiday magazine, and I wanted to make one so, my mom helped me. I'm good with the kknitting part but, starting off and ending, still not so much. So my mom helped me to finish it off on Sunday and I really love how it turned out, and it's so warm too.

Not the greatest pic of me but, we're focusing on the scarf!! Now I'm working on a tuque to go with the scarf. It's a litle bit harder 'cause you have to count and follow instructions at least with the scarf you just go!! But so far not too bad!! And when I'm done I will do a fashion shoot and model them for you!!

In the pic you can see a little bit of my organized bookshelf with all my scrappy stuff!! I'm just lovin' all the organization!! Anyways countdown to the weekend..we're getting there..I know it's only Tuesday but a least tomorrow is Wednesday!! Have a super week everybody!!

Thank goodness it is Friday!! I'm so glad the week is over and the weekend is upon us!! Had another interesting week!! I hate when things are going so well and then your smacked in the face with another thing going wrong. But we'll get through it, I'm not worried.

Anyways my plans for the weekend. Will do some scrapping tonight and tomorrow!! Jared's working until late today and tomorrow. And Sunday we will probably hang out, I know watching the Bears will most likely happen but I'm looking forward to some time with my hubby!! We've been busy all week with work and different schedules!!

I hope everybody had a fabulous New Year's. Jared and I didn't do anything exciting, ordered pizza and watched movies. We made some martinis, Crantinis, they were delicious!! Love them!!

So, it's my last week of Christmas holidays. Not going to do much. Want to keep cleaning the house, it's funny 'cause every year around New Year's I just feel the need to clean. Things around the house are coming along. Have all of my scrap stuff organized on the bookshelf that i brought over from my parents house, still have so much stuff over there. Slowly but surely it's making its way over here!! It's hard though, we have no room here!! Totally want to do some scrapping too, feel inspired now that all my stuff is organized!! Will see some friends and hang out with my family. Hung out with my sister today, we went shopping!! Tons of fun!!

No crazy resolutions for me this year. The usual as every year; Save money, that's a big one..want a house very soon, try to exercise... well at least go for walks twice a week, that's a realistic start for me, and spend more time with my hubby, family and friends..that one is pretty easy!!

Hope everybody is having a good week so far, I'm going to go and take down the Christmas decorations!! Later!!

Just wanted to let everybody know that I am still here. With the Christmas holidays and everything , life got busy!! Christmas was good, our first Christmas for Jared and I as a married couple, it was good!! I'm on Christmas break from school, have been enjoying that. Got the nasty cold that everybody seems to have been hit with. I'll probably be laying low on the blog until the new year, so much I want to do here around the house, and with family and friends, do some scrapping as well. Life is so busy right now. With all the Christmas stuff, making gifts and cards, shopping, getting things ready at school for our Christmas concert and party, busy. But that's okay, I don't mind!! So because my head is swirling with so much stuff, I thought I would just do random and say whatever.

We didn't get our Christmas tree over the weekend, this weekend for sure. It was hard to really study the trees with still so much snow on them. This weekend for sure, I'm excited to decorate!!

No time for scrappies, this past weekend either or during the week. Working on our Christmas cards, cards to sell and gifts!! I'm wanting to scrap, will try this weekend fo sure!!

I think I lost my touch in making really good coffee!! I was known for it and now all the coffee I make in the morning tastes like poo!! Will have to try something else, maybe a different cream?! I don't know.

I have been enjoying a Gingerbread Latte almost everyday!! Yummy!!

Had a little girl at school tell me that the matching shapes board was her passion..cute!! This is the second time she tells me too!!

I have baby fever...soon but, not yet!! Doesn't help that a-lot of new babies are arriving at school!!

Need to go grocery shopping, my dinner tonight is a peanut butter and jam sandwich. Awful!!

Tonight after tutoring going to my parent's house to help my mom decorate the tree, I'm excited!! Will have fun!!

Been thinking about doing another CJ group, anybody interested, let me know!!

That's how the weather has been since Saturday!! We've had snow, ice and it has been SO cold!! There's some Arctic flow passing through. And from what I have learned it only happens every twenty years...lucky us!! According to the weather forecast, tonight is supposed to be the last dump of snow..anywhere between 5 to 10cm...let's hope for lots so maybe I will get a snow day and have no school!! The rain should be coming back soon too, apparently tomorrow..so that's good. So not used to the snow, it does look pretty!! And I did take some pretty snow pictures!!

Except for being cold the snow IS pretty!! I'm especially loving the iceicles, they are really cool to look at.

Everything else in life is going...things are good and busy which is good!! Jared is good, busy working but what else is new. He's finally getting better he was sick with this horrible cold that's been going around, and it looks like the cough is finally disappearing. I think this weekend we are going to get our Christmas tree. I'm excited, finally get to decorate our place with all our Christmas decorations, I am excited. I might start some Christmas shopping too. Haven't started yet, but I have all the ideas up in my head and written down too 'cause I seem to forget things sometimes. I hate that. Especially when you have such a good idea, and then you forget. But other than that, things are good, life is good. Want to do some scrapping this weekend too, and finish our Christmas cards, and of course hang out with my hubby!!

Scrapped Saturday Away...

And that's just what I did yesterday. Jared went to a funeral (I didn't know the guy) and he was basically gone all day, didn't get home until late. So, I spent most of my Saturday scrapping. Had the music going and some coffee, it was good!! Here's what I came up with, quite happy with myself!!

So, I only came up with four pages yesterday, that's not bad. Will probably do some more today, have to do Elizabeth's Your music CJ too!! Will get done and shipped out to Hailey tomorrow!!

As for the rest of Sunday, Jared's watching football right now. He's still kind of sick more of a cough than anything. But I'm hoping we can hang out together a bit today!! I want to go to Ikea and get some things to organize some of my scrap stuff.It's beginning to drive me cazy!! Everything is spread out between 3 rooms. I wissh I had my own room. But I scrap on the kitchen table so, I can't leave everything there. And later tonight is Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters, love those shows!!

All the crap that was going on is SO much better. It's somewhat resolved. Jared got into a car accident with my car...he's okay, the car was not so much!! We have been waiting to see if the insurance company was going to fix it or write it off. Luckily I get to pick up my car tomorrow!! I'm excited have misssed it so much. SO it was that crap, and of course Jared and I fighting doesn't help, and money. When is it not money!! But everything has turned out, so I'm glad!! So, thanks again for all the kind words!!

My weekend and some Scrappies...

So, I had a long weekend. Pro-d day on Friday, which was awesome!! Still had to tutor French in the morning which is fine!! But the rest of the afternoon was spent with my parents. We had some lunch, did a little shopping and then my mom went grocery shopping with me!! Love my parents!! They're awesome!! After I went home dropped off the groceries and went to do a couple more errands. Went to the mall, looking for new runners and a bag for school to carry all my stuff in. No luck!! I did find some new books to read!! Finally found an Audrey Hepburn autobiography!! Have been wanting to read one for so long and finally found it!! It's hard to find books about her!! Was so excited to read it, and it's good so far!! After the mall headed to Michaels and Office Depot!! Found some skeletons, I'm going to decorate like the one's Elsie did!! They're so cute!! And neede some school stuff at Office Depot!! Came home, had dinner and watched Ghost Whisperer. Jared came home later!!

Saturday was pretty low key. Did some crafty Halloween stuff!! Watched "Funny Face" with Audrey Hepburn, love that movie!! If anyone watched Gilmore Girls this past week, it was the movie that Lorelai and Christopher watched on their date, with the movie against the barn..so romantic!! Hung out with Jared before he went to work!! Sunday my friend Connie had a Stampin'Up party, so I went tons of fun!! Ordered a bunch of stuff, exciting!! Later Jared and I went out to dinner, which was nice!! Love him SO much and love hanging out with him!! It's hard 'cause life is busy for both of us and we have different schedules so, we don't get too much time together. That's why weekends are SO important!! For time together!! Then we met up with our friends Mike and Jen for coffee and chatting!! Fun!! Came home and watched Desperate Housewives..good and watched Brothers and Sisters, anybody watch it?! I like it, it's good!! Even Jared likes it!!

And that was my weekend!! Now it's Monday again!! Wanted to share some scrappy pages, quite proud of them actually!! I submitted for thee Story of My Own Design Team but, no luck!! Oh well, got some pretty good pages from it!!

Today 9 years ago Jared and I went on our first date!! We had coffee at the Bread Garden, which closed down right after we went there before Jared proposed last year. Adn we enjoyed a good night of lots of chatting, not really. It was more me chatting away and Jared kept saying "right on." And now look where we are..finally married!! Love my Mr Magoo so much!! Happy 9 years honey!!

Ribs and Sushi

It's Monday, already?! Ugh!! The weekend just flew by, as it alsways does!! My weekend was good!!

Saturday, we finally got some heat. The landlord came over wih somebody to fix the furnace. So, I'm not freezing anynore!! Jared and I took it easy, we're lazy and relaxed. It was good. Because my mom and sister Vanessa are in California I had my Dad and baby sister Olga over for dinner. It was good. I made BBQ ribs in the crock pot, they were SO good and so easy to make. Makes the house smell really good when you walk in the house. And I got some sushi and edamame beans too. So, I half cooked. Jared couldn't make it he had to work. But my Dad and Olga LOVED the dinner and told me how delicious it was!! My Dad brought dessert, cheesecak. Very yummy!! It was tons of fun!! I;m glad I had them both over and impressed them with my cooking skills ;) I took picture so, I could email my mom and Vanessa so, they could see what they're missing!!

So, look who we ALMOST brought home on Saturday!! Isn't he a cutie!!

Feeking a little disappointed because I really WABTED him!! Had a name all picked out and everything and of course super excited!! But we decided that we're going to wait until Summer 'cause I'll be on break and can spend more time with him and training him as well. Which is good 'cause the last thing we want to do is leave all alone. Still feeling a little sad about not bringing him n=home. He's just TOO cute!! Countdown to the summer!!

Anyways I hope evryone had a good weekend!! Here's to another short week for me!! YAY!! No school on Friday!!

No idea where that title came from!! But it's fun!! Went to the pumpkin patch with school today, tons of fun!! I love going every year!! Was hoping to get some mmore pics though but, it's hard especiallly with the little ones, watching them and all!! Did get some with the children but, I don't think I should post those so, here are some!!

so, it's hump day today!! YAY!! I guess I shouldn't say anything we just had a long wekend!! Our Thanksgiving weekend was good..did tons of scrapping which I will post very soon, I promise!! Have been feeling so inspired!! Had dinner with Jared's family on Sunday and then my family on Saturday!! Good times!! Did do some gardening..I'm loving it!! I think some of my moms green thumb rubbed iff on me!! we have a litle patio area and it's next to the tv room so, everytime we watch tv we, have at least something nice to look at!! Planted some bulbs too!! Have to wait for Spring for that though!!

Was wanting to post onemore pic of my mini garden but blogger will not let me..ugh!! There will be scrap page soon!!

My mom and my sister Vanessa left for SanDiego this morning!! I am SO jwalous, I wnated to go too!! Vanessa is actually doing a triathalon on Sunday..good for her!! I could never do that!! But they're going to have such a good time, my mom hasn't been back in 10years to visit family so, I know she ill have tons of fun!! Jared and I are going to go either in March or over the summer too I cannot wait!!

It's An Loooong Weekend!!

YAY!! For a long weekend!! I am so happy and excited!! Three days off of relaxing, sleeping in, doing some scrapping!!! For us in Canada it is our Thanksgiving Day on Monday!! So, that means we get some turkey!! I get it twice. Sunday with Jared's family and Monday with my family!! Should be good!! Looking forward to the turkey!!

Have been doing some creating both at home and at school!! Will share the scrappy pages soon..but I wanted to share some of my craftyness I do at school!!

Here's the picture that sits on top of the calendar, I love how it turned!! Love my sparkly pumpkins and bats!!

And here are our Thanksgiving turkeys that we made with the children, aren't they cute!! And super eay to make. Let me know if your interested!! Isn't he acute turkey!!

Wish I Was Back in Hawaii...

My sister's friend just left for Honolulu on Saturday and I'm so jealous!! I so wish Jared and I were both back there..on Waikiki beach, in the sun, hanging out, having drinks and having a good time!! I totally need to start saving our money so we can go back soon. So, since I am not there right now I thought I would share some pictures of us when we were there!!

Doesn't it make you wish you were there right now?! Now I just need to talk about some things on my mind...

So, I am happy to say that I did end up figuring out the oven. Called Jared after he had finished his soccer practice and asked him. I felt so dumb. But, at least I know now how the oven works. Needless to say that I didn't eat 'til about 10 o'clock. I told my mom the story she just laughed!! She said at least I am learning, which is true!! She's going to come over and teach me how to make ribs in the crock pot, I am SO excited!!

I just found out more crap going on with this bridesmaid. I'm not so much upset it's more that I am mad. I just don't understand why she is being like this and doing this. She is supposed to be a friend. We've been friends for 10years now..a long time!! I found out all this crap from my boss who is also a very good friend but, she is still my boss. A very cool boss I might add. She blabbed all this to my boss while she was giving her a massage. She's a massage therapist. And my boss had an appointment with her. She did not know all this was going on. This happened about a couple of weeks ago. She told me yesterday. In some ways I am glad she told at least i see her for who she really is now. I think what made me the most mad is that she said some not so nice things about my mom, and she called my sister's liars. Issues about the bachelorette thing..most of my friends couldn't make it because it was too expensive..she should've done something affordable, and she didn't listen to any of my sister's ideas...and she had some of her friends show up at the club where we went..how rude is that? And she had issues about the hair and make-up for the wedding, that she hated it..blah..blah... If it was such a problem then she should've had said no to being a bridesmaid. I didn't know she felt like this until the wedding. She was being a fake. She was lying. And how she told my boss was completley unprofessional..she put her in a very awkward position. What's worse I still have her stupid tiara box. I borrowed her tiara as my something borrowed. She wants the bos back, which is fine but she doesn't want me to leave it outside. Wants me drop it off with her mom. Why?! It's a stupid $1 store box, worth nothing. I'm really in no mood to talk to her mom..I'm sure she knows?! If not still!! Still trying to decide if I should be a cow and just drop it off in front of the door...I don't know. Jared thinks I should. I have decided after all this recent information that i don't want to be friends with her anymore. I'm better off without her. I know it's sad because I've been friends with her for SO long. But what she did and how she acted is just wrong. Especially with family involved.

Okay thanks I just had to let all this out.....it's too bad I cannot cut her out of all the wedding pictures. :)

So happy it is Wednesday tomorrow, the weekend will be here soon!! Ready for Grey's Anatomy on thursday..have to rush home from tutoring. Friday is Ghost Whisperer with Jenifer Love Hewitt, love that show!! Anybody else watch it?! I love watching things about ghosts and other spirits.

The Oven

I'm frustrated.I've been waiting for the stupid oven to get hot enough so, I can cook my chicken shish kabobs and tater tots. I've been trying to figure out the oven for the past 2 hours. No luck. And I'm getting very hungry. Jared's at soccer and won't be home for another half an hour. Now this oven is just way too compicated, there are two knobs that have to go on in order for it to work and I just can't seem to figure it out. Have tried turning it one way and them the other way, nothing, just doesn't get HOT enough. I think I screwed up the oven. I'm thinking about giving up. Or at least waiting until Jared gets home.

So, my week has been kind of ugh!! I got sick. The second week of school, can you believe it?! I usually get sick the first week, but I thought I was going to be missing out this year. But, I think I jinxed myself 'cause I did. Just a week later. The cold started Monday night and it continues. ALthough the migraines are gone all I am with is NO VOICE!! So, hopefully tomorrow I will have a voice again because teaching preschoolers and kindergarteners with no voice is a little hard. So, pray for my voice.

Believe it or not I just ut my pictures from Hawaii on the computer so, I thought I would share some...I wish I was back there with Jared, we had so much fun!!

More to come, for sure!! so glad it's Friday tomorrow, not too many plans for the weekend. Do some scrappin', cleaning, probably watch some football with Jared, write out those Thankyou cards..that's about it!! Hope everyone has a fab weekend, gonna see if I can figure out this stupid oven!!
